Enjoy the Journey Retreats began by offering 7 retreats per year in 2023, each one located in a different state along the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Maryland. The themes for these seven retreats are based on a set of seven original chakra paintings and their associated messages and mantras, channeled by the Artist of Conscious Evolution, Kate Lemay.
There are not just a total of seven paintings representing each of our seven main chakras; Kate Lemay created forty-nine paintings – seven sets of seven chakra paintings from root to crown.
Each set of seven chakra paintings tells a different story, leading us on a particular journey from mutli-faceted perspectives through the healing and empowerment of our personal energy system. Our job? To enjoy that journey, together.
Kate’s vision is to hold one retreat per painting in forty-nine states by the year 2030.
After three years of grounding these delicious, transformational experiences with phenomenal retreat leaders and warriors, Enjoy the Journey takes the next bold step. In March of 2026 ETJ will launch the next set of seven retreats based on another unique set of chakra paintings by Kate Lemay, for a total of fourteen paintings represented in fourteen states; fourteen opportunities to jump into connection, creation and healing. This next set of seven retreats takes us to a new level, diving deep into healing of our personal chakra energy system, offering CEUs for professionals – and for those who attend all seven retreats, a full 200-hour chakra healing certificate program. The next seven retreats are led by Christina Alexa and Kate Lemay, beginning with the EARTH painting of the muladhara (root) chakra and exploring the very foundation upon which we build our lives.

Once these next seven retreats are complete, they will be repeated the following cycle and stewarded by a seasoned team of retreat leaders, just as the first set of seven chakra retreats are currently. Christina and Kate will then move on to launch the next set of seven retreats in a similar format, for a total of twenty-one retreats in twenty-one states in 2027! All held within rustic, down to earth, welcoming and nurturing YMCA camps throughout the United States.
Each retreat offers full lodging and meals in addition to deep and dynamic workshops and classes, a level of community connection that cannot be understated, unconditional support in a lasting container built with strength and LOVE. All are welcome here as we endeavor to heal the sacred hoop of the people, our circles growing wider, stronger and overlapping in an intrinsic divine weave.
Join any one retreat you are called to (take note of which chakra it represents!) or commit to a package of three or seven retreats at various savings. These retreats are purposefully underpriced! The YMCA camp environment allows us to keep the costs low, the connection to nature high and the energy grounded and real. These are come-as-you-are, leave the make-up at home if you would like, rest, revive, reveal your true essence to yourself once again.
